(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, JULY 3 - The United States has recorded 53,069 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to data from Johns Hopkins University: it is a new record, the second two consecutive days and the sixth in the last nine days. The total therefore rises to 2,735,339. At least seven states have made their mark on a single day: Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Montana, South Carolina and Tennessee. In the last 24 hours the deaths have been 649, bringing the overall death toll to 128.677.
