(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, - The European Commission has not objected to the Italian decree on the indication of origin obligation for processed pork. Last night, the three months laid down by the regulations to notify additional labeling provisions compared to those foreseen at EU level, such as those on origin, expired.
During the three months the Commission did not express a negative opinion and the Italian provisions must be considered authorized. (HANDLE).
