Futuroscope, a leisure park near Poitiers, will benefit from 300 million euros in investments to renovate and expand, with the creation of a water park, two hotels and three new attractions here 2025, its operator, Compagnie des Alpes, announced on Friday.

"In the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, this project illustrates our desire to pursue a voluntarist long-term investment strategy," said Dominique Marcel, CEO of the group who will lead the project in partnership with the Vienne department and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC).

Three major new attractions in six years
