"With the economic crisis and the beginning of the disinterest of telecom operators for pay television, there will be consolidation operations", explains Jacques Dupuy, the president of Canal + International. With 12 million subscribers in Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia, Canal + International has proven that it can grow thanks to a careful balance between organic growth and acquisitions. In eight years, the small diversification of the French chain has quadrupled the number of its customers and is now posed as the big sister of Canal + France which has only 8 million subscriptions.
