Dear Parents Note: After surviving the painful and smelly gas period of your children, you can now explain to them how gases are produced in animals.

The book "Does It Fart" by the pair of scientists Nick Caruso and Danny Ravaiutti and intended for ages 4-12, is now published by Azure and translated by Gili Bar Hillel Samo, and in Hebrew is called "Do they fart?".

Among the pages of the book, which is defined as a scientific guide, you will find explanations about the history of the swelling, which are the most fragrant animals, why and how they fart and negate facts about the important but smelly gut phenomenon.

The original book was published in the US as early as 2017, and even featured on the New York Times bestseller list, and is currently being translated into Israel.

If you are active on social networks, you have probably come across a lot of entertaining online posts about the book in recent days, especially from parents of children.

On the Facebook page from Ashkenazi (what Ashkenazi you think), he managed to amass a post about the book close to 400 likes and dozens of amusing comments, which sought to understand whether it was a joke or a real book.

"Okay, I checked. It's real," she updated, and others entertained the discussion about the next book in the series, and the recommended names for it.

A number of surfers have also expressed anger at the gender bias in the title, claiming that the use of the term "fart" without the corresponding female suffix, discriminates against the male public and presents women as not experiencing the common bowel movement.

One thing is for sure. If it smells like a viral hit, it is.
