Sick Season:  This season of "Survivor" no one will forget. To be sure - there is no point to us, the viewers, but to the survivors themselves.

"Survivor" did for Network 13 what no other program did before - almost every night it aired the corresponding broadcasts at rival Arc 12, which is not used to losing to anyone. The victory in numbers is a definite and indisputable victory, and after the last Saturday's defeat of the collapsing "Music School", it will not be far-fetched to claim now that this is a winning season of "survival" ratings. But not for all parameters, and not for everyone.

If we have already mentioned highs, it is impossible to overlook another record that broke this season, a record of violence and aggressiveness on the screen whose intensity not only manifests itself in the amount of allegations raised against it, but also hardly ever to actually see and hear what the screen is shouting at us. We, the viewers, forget about it fifteen minutes after the finals, as we face the next reality, but the contestants are not, and for them it's going to be tough.

The survivors already understand the damage that participating in the defamed reality has done to them, and they are not waiting for the season to end with claims for production

Contestants who come to Reality know exactly what contract they signed and what business they entered into. But - and this is significant - when it comes to "survival," soon after the surviving, hungry, exhausted, fatigued and mostly haunted footage is all an integral part of the format that throws you on some beach, accustoming you to dealing with the zero amount of energy available in a day and time Forcing you to make your way to the final with strategies and tricks, non-stop.

Of the survivors, compared to the runners, the brewers and the singers, you can't expect them to understand what is going on around the island, and even less how it will all take place and what will eventually come to the screen. This is where editors and broadcasters come into the picture, they control some of the moves on the island and even more in the editing rooms. They are the ones who need to keep a human photographer for those contestants whose every move was to go to reality.

On my tombstone they will write: "He spent most of his life interviewing reality contenders. Many of them are from Survival." I interviewed them during the season broadcast and also talked to them much later. I learned from them that "survival", even for those who relatively passed it by and leverage it for a career, is a lifelong scar.

• "Survival": lowest in reality

• "Shame and disgrace": dozens of complaints against "survival"

• Boycott: Second wave of complaints against "survival"

In the current season, Israel Oglovo, that sensitive and vulnerable guy from Big Brother, has become a bulldozer who doesn't stop in red; Little Smudge, the beautiful and funny who is fondly remembered from "The Beautiful and the Geek" became the country's jour; My blessed son will never forget the group boycott they made; And Ido Kozikaro, the Israeli national basketball player, plunged from a height of 2.08 meters to wallow in a slippery reality slope of the lowest variety. And not their fault.

The survivors this season already understand the damage that participating in the defamed reality has done to them, and they are not waiting for the season to end with claims for production. Some of them were already facing the pullers and demanding mercy. After all, these contestants have careers, spouses, families, friends and a lifetime to deal with even after the season ends. Ask Oshri Cohen or Itai Turgman, whose "survival" career has been undergoing a slow recovery. "They wanted to do a trip together anyway, so they went on a trip and paid for it," she told me at the time of their agent. Amma? This trip ended their game careers. Anti-season voices were heard on the net as well, but all of them disappeared the morning after, when the excellent ratings data came in, and again, all that mattered to the craftsmen was how to get the next powerful promo.

Buzzelo v. Little: "The real coward is you"

Little Smadja: "The joke was at my expense"

• "I will not talk to Jordan Jarby and will not forgive her"

Two more important clarifications are needed in this regard. First of all, don't worry - this season of "Survival" is a good season and I'm watching it. The casting is good, the happenings are interesting and the moves are surprising. But, and this is where the second clarification comes in - that's not the only reason "survival" wins the rainbow. In an uncharacteristic way, Rainbow was caught with his pants down and not ready for the Corona crisis that stretched until the summer and overshadowed him, and in fact got stuck with the kitchen which is anything but a winner.

In the current situation, I would not be surprised if network captains conclude that verbal and physical violence, sectarianism and boycotts bring ratings, but those who are well versed in the industry know that they would pay for it in a big way. Still, there is a real fear that, following this causal success, we will see much more of that later, in "Survival" and in general, only because they have concluded that this is the secret of magic.

Unlike previous seasons, where all survivors knew how the season was going to end, this season the battle is very close and there is even a chance of a historic live battle for the winner's identity. For a long time it's hard to know who will take the million, but one thing's for sure - there's been a winner in this season of "survival," and it's Dana Ron, who retired on the day the game started.
