ERCOLANO - From 8 July the ticket office of the Archaeological Park of Ercolano will reopen to the public. And so tourists and groups of visitors, in addition to being able to buy tickets online, a highly recommended procedure to ensure that you visit the site at the desired time and avoid gatherings, they can also do so in presence. The opening of the ticket office will respect the time 10.30-19.30 (last entry at 18.00) with weekly closing day on Tuesday. The preferential post covid rates with single ticket for 10 euros remain in force, while for young people between 18 and 25 years the ticket will be 2 euros; free admissions and reductions as per regulations.

Also from 8 July, the quota restrictions will be extended for each time slot, and access will be allowed to twenty-five people every 15 minutes, including children and young people.

Another important novelty is the return of Campania Artecard, the historical pass of cultural tourism promoted by the Campania Region which is proposed today in a smarter and more ecological version.

The card, managed by Scabec, promotes access to Campania's cultural heritage with a dematerialized pass and a new digital platform. At the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, Artecard owners will be able to access the area in the time slot in which the maximum limit has not been reached or wait to enter by stopping for a purchase at the park's bookshop or, by downloading the new audio guide app and listen to the introduction to the visit. '' The interrupted roads are resumed and the Artecard circuit is reactivated which favors the circulation and use of the cultural heritage of Campania with the card at a competitive price, and also the Herculaneum Park is favored by promotion at a regional level '' says the director of the Park Archaeological Museum of Herculaneum, Francesco Sirano '' While purchasing online the way we recommend to come to the Park, the first month of reopening taught us that this process must include gradual forms: therefore the ticket office reopens in the presence of service of the group of visitors who live with unease the purchase of tickets online and we were so sorry to be unable to welcome until yesterday. We are going well, visitors are growing day by day, the territory around the Park shows clear signs of recovery of the activities connected to the reception and this fills us with trust and a sense of responsibility towards the Park community ''. The new Campania Artecard will also be purchasable directly in some points of sale which can be consulted on the website www.campaniartecard.it
