(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 08 - Edoardo Leo is the first director to be on the set with a new project after the stop of the last few weeks. In fact, the filming of his new long-film Leave a day in Rome has begun, produced by Fulvio eFederica Lucisano for Italian International Film with VisionDistribution.
Fourth direction for Leo, the film is an international co-production with the Barcelona company Neo Art Producciones, and boasts a Spanish protagonist, Marta Nieto, Best Actress Award in Venice Orizzonti 2019. In the cast besides Edoardo Leo himself, who signs the screenplay with Marco Bonini, Damiano Bruè and LisaRiccardi, there are also Claudia Gerini and Stefano Fresi.
The leading director and screenwriter Edoardo Leo had stated: "In a particular moment for everyone and especially for our sector, starting again with a large international co-production is a commitment but, I hope, a sign of good luck for Italian cinema".
The film is distributed by Vision Distribution and will arrive in the city in 2021. (ANSA).
