Replacement Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Wednesday decided to go into isolation due to suspicion being exposed to Corona patient last Sunday.
Gantz said: "Due to suspicion of exposure to a Corona patient last Sunday evening, with the desire and responsibility to avoid risk of infection, and after consulting with medical officials, Defense Minister and Prime Minister Benny Gantz decided to go into isolation, until a corona test and epidemiologic investigation were conducted. Good and will continue to manage the affairs of the ministry and the rest of his public pursuits from the isolation. "
In a tweet on his Twitter account, Gantz responded to the remarks and wrote: "I feel great, and intend to continue working as always, only remotely. There is no room for risk taking."
Let's start with the bottom line: I feel great, and intend to continue working as always, only remotely.
There is a suspicion that I was exposed to a Corona patient early in the evening. After consulting with medical officials, I will go into isolation, do a corona test and epidemiologic investigation and follow exactly as directed. There is no room for risk taking.
Just health for everyone.

Remember, last week Gantz - along with President Reuben (Ruby) Rivlin and Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi - stayed with Border Commander Yaakov Shabtai, who was diagnosed with Corona. However, the Ministry of Health decided that the three should not go into isolation.
