(ANSA) - GENOA, JULY 08 - The operations of laying the first layer of asphalt on the new pipeline on the Polcevera in Genoa have started this morning. The commission structure announces it. A 'carpet' of about 7 centimeters, called a binder, is spread with a roller on the material already applied in previous days (primer and asphaltic hood). Once the laying, which takes place from the center of the bridge towards the ends of the viaduct, is completed, the road will be completed with the wear layer, an additional asphalt part 4 cm thick.
