After the bac results on Tuesday, it is the turn of the middle school students to finally be able to breathe and end this completely crazy year. Already based half on continuous assessment, the patent diploma has increased to 100% on an assessment of continuous assessment in a simpler way. The final exams at the end of June canceled, juries also, as for the bac, harmonized the students' marks, which can give surprises: the success rate of the bac revealed yesterday revealed a record of 91.5% (against 77% last year).

Unlike the bac, the results of the patent are not all revealed on the same day: each rector of the academy can choose the date of publication of their lists, as for the other exams (bts, bep, bp ...) which have no catch-up session to organize. Thus, the academies of Caen and Rouen have already freed their students by publishing their lists on Monday at 2 p.m. ... and seven academies must do the same today. The end of the publications is scheduled for Friday, with Poitiers which will publish its lists last at the end of the afternoon.

The procedures for obtaining the 2020 patent

How was the 2020 patent score calculated? Normally, the patent is rated on a total of 800 points, so it is enough to have a total of 400 points or more. These 800 points are divided between the oral, noted on 100 points, the final tests, noted on 300 points, and the mastery of the common base of knowledge, skills and culture, noted on 400 points. In the absence of oral and written reports due to health crisis, the final tests were replaced by taking into account continuous monitoring. The 2020 patent will therefore be awarded on the basis of a total of 700 points, not 800, so this year you must have 350 points to obtain your patent.
