Beppe Carletti, keyboardist and founder of the Nomads, made his debut as an actor in 'Gocce di luce', a short film set in the days of the lockdown for the pandemic from Covid-19, with the direction of Silvia Monga, who also wrote the subject and the film script. The short, shot in Genoa, was shown at the Venice Film Festival where it could be previewed.
During the lockdown period, a boy who lives with his grandfather and brother, waiting for his mother to return, is intrigued to observe the everyday life of a girl who lives in the building opposite. Some details will make him fall in love with her and will not change his feelings despite a sad and painful appearance.
Beppe Carletti, author of the soundtrack, is excited about this debut as an actor in a social short film that talks about the discomfort caused by the forced closure during the pandemic and disability period. "I am happy - he says to ANSA - to have contributed, with my music and my small participation in the piano teacher part, to the realization of this beautiful documentary film that tells a story set in the time of the lockdown". In the cast with him also Giorgio Biavati, Simona Garbarino, Leonardo Trevisan, Olga Rui Marchiò and Francesco Saias.
