The girl, whose identity has not been revealed, lived in Broward County. An 11-year-old boy died in Miami-Dade county last week and a 16-year-old girl in Lee county and a 17-year-old in Pasco county had died before him.

BOLIVIA - Bolivia's interim president, Jeanine Anez, revealed that she tested positive for a Covid-19 test and immediately went into isolation. The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country therefore rose to 1,755,779, while the total number of victims since the start of the pandemic reached 69,184. The lethality rate (i.e. the percentage of deaths compared to the number of sick people) decreased slightly (3.9%), while the mortality rate stood at 32.9 people per 100,000 inhabitants.

MEXICO - Mexico has recorded a new daily record of contagions from Covid-19, with 7,280 new cases in the past 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. With these, the total number of cases ascertained in Mexico from February 28 to today is 282,283, 33,526 deaths since the first case was registered in the country on February 28. The number of new deaths in the last 24 hours is 730. However, despite the record of cases in a single day, the health authorities note that the general trend is downward for both contagions and deaths, despite the reopening underway since last month.
