(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, JUL 10 - New data concerning the spread of coronavirus in Israel have been released by the Ministry of Health. The total number of positive cases has risen to 35,533, or 1,586 more than yesterday.
The sick are now 16,651, of which 438 are hospitalized, the other 16,213 are in isolation in their homes or in special hotels made available to the authority. About 3,000 patients were sick a month ago. In revival there are now 39 people. In the meantime, deaths have risen to 350.
Since this morning, the authorities have closed other neighborhoods indicated as contagion centers in some cities (including Jerusalem). In recent days, the Minister of Health, Yoel Edelstein, has warned that if it reaches the figure of 2,000 infections per day it would be appropriate to impose a new national lockdown.
