Coronavirus: record infections in Mexico, 7,280 in 24 hours

(ANSA) - MEXICO CITY, JUL 10 - Mexico has recorded a new daily record of infections from Covid-19, with 7,280 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
    With these, the total number of cases ascertained in Mexico from February 28 to today is 282,283, 33,526 deaths since the first case was registered in the country on February 28. The number of new deaths in the last 24 hours is 730.
    However, despite the record of cases in a single day, the health authorities note that the general trend is low for both contagions and deaths, despite the openings in progress since last month. (HANDLE).
