(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, JUL 11 - A court suspended the execution in Indiana of a federal death sentence scheduled for Monday, the first since 2003. The judges welcomed requests from the families of the victims who, invoking their own vulnerability, claimed to be in the face of the impossible choice between the right to attend the last of the sentenced person and the fears of contagion in the event of dissembling. The detainee is Daniel Lee, a white supremacist accused of the death of a couple and an 8-year-old girl.
