The Ministry of Health reported this Saturday that in the last 24 hours there were 36 deaths from coronavirus and that 3,449 new cases were identified in the same period, almost entirely in the province of Buenos Aires and in the Federal Capital.
The evening survey confirmed the death of 23 people, in addition to the 13 deaths reported this morning.
"Since the last report issued, 23 new deaths were registered. 11 men, 6 of 79, 91, 73, 102, 82 and 78 years, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; 5 of 89, 75, 54, 80 and 71 years, residents in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA); and 12 women, 8 of 98, 76, 67, 79, 95, 70, 97 and 84 years, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; and 4 of 79, 80 , 56 and 98 years old, residents of the City of Buenos Aires (CABA) ", they detailed in the last part of the health report.
Regarding the new confirmed cases, it was detailed that 2,113 are in Buenos Aires, 1,051 in the Federal Capital, 1 in Catamarca, 56 in Chaco, 9 in Chubut, 30 in Córdoba, 2 in Corrientes, 31 in Entre Ríos, 59 in Jujuy, 5 in La Rioja, 14 in Mendoza, 13 in Neuquén, 25 in Río Negro, 21 in Salta and 19 in Santa Fe.
Also in the morning it was highlighted that of the total number of patients with coronavirus, 41,408 had already been discharged.
"It is very important that the jurisdictions that are in social distancing have a surveillance of those who enter. Any reason that makes a person move from a transmission area to one of social distancing and has symptoms should be isolated as soon as possible, since the faster it is controlled will avoid contagions ", explained Vizzotti.
"The numbers that we see today are from what happened 14 days ago, and the six or seven days that we have left of this strategy are very important from the individual in each action that we generate," said Carla Vizzotti, the secretary of Access to the Health, in reference to the tightening of the quarantine in the AMBA and in the other areas of the country with the highest transmission.
In the morning report, in addition, it was reported that 10,309 new samples were made on Friday and since the start of the outbreak, 456,042 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 10,050.1 samples per million inhabitants.
