The nurse's protest, in the name of Sion Solomon, comes against the backdrop of doctors' and medical staff's struggles that began with the outbreak of the Corona crisis, after it became clear that they would not be paid full wages for the days of isolation sent to them due to exposure to Corona patients during their work. Dr. Ze'ev Feldman, chair of the State Physicians' Organization, said during a special hearing held by the Knesset Welfare and Health Committee that exposure of medical staff to corona patients in their role puts them at risk, and finally they go into isolation and "pay the price" .

After the medical staff protests, the Treasury agreed to pay for absenteeism due to a three-month average salary isolation, but the staff's rights are still being violated, while at the same time reducing sick leave, which they may need in the future.
