Marcelo Brozovic, the 27-year-old Croatian midfielder of Inter, was blocked by the carabinieri for having passed with the red while driving a luxury car. Once arrested for the infringement of the highway code, the military subjected the vice world champion to the alcohol test to which he tested positive, but little compared to the limits allowed by law. Therefore, in addition to the fine, his license was withdrawn and the car, registered to a company based in Munich, was subjected to administrative detention.
The episode, reported by the newspaper il Giorno, happened on the night between Friday and last Saturday. The footballer was intercepted around 2.45 on 11 July, when in Piazzale Cantore, near the dock and therefore in one of the areas of the Milanese nightlife, he did not respect the red.
Given that the breathalyzer marked a value slightly above the limit, the SUV, with a foreign license plate, was entrusted to one of the three friends, his compatriots, who were on board with Brozovic, to allow everyone to return home.
