114 days after the beginning of the quarantine in Argentina, the Ministry of Health of the Nation reported that in the last 24 hours 2,657 new cases of coronavirus were registered and that 35 people died.
In the known report this morning, 8 new deaths were recorded. 5 men, 4 of 61, 78, 91 and 69 years, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; one 84 years old, resident in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA); and 2 women, 88 and 72 years old, residing in the province of Buenos Aires. One person was reported without sex data.
During Saturday, 10,266 new samples were made and since the start of the outbreak, 466,308 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 10,276.4 samples per million inhabitants.
Meanwhile, Argentine infectologists agree that the peak of cases will arrive before the end of the month. Experts say cases at AMBA are still on the rise. They estimate that the turning point will be a plateau of two or three weeks and then begin to decrease.
Until now, the places with the most confirmed cases of coronavirus in Argentina are the Province of Buenos Aires, Capital Federal, Chaco, Río Negro, Córdoba and Santa Fe.
