(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 12 - There are 234 new ones infected by Covid, up from 188 yesterday. The victims are 9 (8 in Lombardy, one in Abruzzo), against 7 yesterday. The total cases rise to 243,061, the deaths to 34,954. Of the newly infected 77 are in Lombardy (32.9%) and 71 in Emilia Romagna (30.3%); if black 28 in Calabria, migrants landed in Reggino. 38,259 swabs were made, down from more than 45,000 yesterday, according to the Ministry of Health. The regions without new cases are 7: Liguria, Puglia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sicily, Sardinia, Valle d'Aosta and Basilicata, in addition to the Province of Trento; 18 instead the regions without new victims.
68 hospitalized in intensive care, one more than yesterday, the second consecutive day of slight increase, while two units grow in Lombardy; 14 regions have no resuscitation patients. Inpatients with symptoms are 776 (-50), those in home isolation 12,335 (-175). The positive people at Covid are 13,179 (-124), the healed 194,928 (+349).
