(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 12 - Portuguese police inspected three abandoned wells in the Algarve region as part of investigations into the disappearance of little Madeleine McCann in 2007 while she was on vacation with her parents in Praia de Luz.
    According to British media reports, police teams and divers have inspected the wells - the largest of which is 13 meters deep - last Thursday in the town of Vila do Bispo. The searches lasted eight hours.
    The area is only about 16 kilometers from the Praia daLuz resort, where Maddie was on the day of his disappearance on the treme of 13 years ago, and is close to the beach where Christian Brueckner's camper was photographed in 2007, the German pedophile plurine suspected of kidnapping and the killing of Maddie who is currently imprisoned in Germany for other crimes.
