The YouTube community is mourning the death of Nicole Thea .
The girl, who was a sensation on the social network and was pregnant, passed away at the young age of 24. It was her family who confirmed the sad news through Instagram, and right there, it was revealed that her baby, the product of Nicole's relationship with her boyfriend Global Boga , also lost her life.
"To all of Nicole's friends and supporters, it is with great sadness that I have to report that Nicole and her son, whom she and Boga named Reign , sadly passed away on Saturday morning," read a statement released Sunday.

The family explained that Nicole had "previously scheduled some YouTube videos" to upload to her channel before her death, and with Boga's blessing, he "made the decision to allow them to air."
The most recent video was released yesterday and is titled "I Have a Bath Full of Milk! * Behind the Scenes of a Pregnancy Photo Shoot." The 14-minute video shows Nicole excitedly preparing to bathe in milk.
In their farewell to Instagram, loved ones wrote the following: "As a family, we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what happened."
"Thanks to their mother RIP. My beautiful girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss them for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven," the message concludes.

It was last April when Nicole announced that she was pregnant, and she did so with a moving message.
"We can't hide this any longer, let the secrets come out. GOD gave us the greatest blessing so far. I'm finally creating a beautiful little human within me," his text said on Instagram. "I can't believe this bubba is half of me and half of the loml. Honestly, @global_boga has been the best support and GOD made no mistake in making him the father."
In her post, Thea added, "We are already obsessed with you, our little miracle baby. Thank you for choosing us to be your parents and best friends."
A few weeks later, Nicole revealed the sex of her baby. "We will have a family of baby boys," he wrote, adding that Boga "got what he wanted."
"Actually, we can't wait to meet him ... I wanted a girl so she could be daddy's little one, but now, my little prince will be mommy's boy. Oh, sir, I am full of emotions as I write this." he wrote happily.

In late June, Boga shared that her son was expected to "arrive soon." Days later, on June 30, he wrote: "I have faith, Baby Boga will arrive on a Monday."
However, the couple did not give new updates on the baby in the past two weeks.
So far the reason for Nicole's death is unknown.
