American actress Kelly Preston, who starred in films such as 'Jerry Maguire' and 'Twins', died of cancer at the age of 57. This was announced by her husband John Travolta.
"It is with a very pained heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle against breast cancer," wrote Travolta on his Instagram page.
Kelly Preston had studied drama and theater at the University of Southern California. He became famous by playing precisely in 'Twins' in 1988 alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, to then participate in dozens of other films and TV series. In the 1996 romantic comedy 'Jerry Maguire ", she was alongside Tom Cruise and Renee Zellweger. In 1991 the actress married Travolta, from whom she had three children. The oldest died in 2009 at the age of 16 years.
