23 new deaths from coronavirus confirmed and almost 2,000 fatalities in Argentina

So far, 45,467 people have studied the virus but have recovered and have been discharged, representing 44% of those infected.

The Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday 23 new deaths from coronavirus in relation to the latest report, making 1,926 fatalities in the country due to the pandemic.

The deceased registered in the last hours are 16 men, 7 who lived in the province of Buenos Aires and 9 with residence in the City of Buenos Aires; and 7 women, 5 who lived in the province of Buenos Aires and 2 in the City.

The virus case fatality rate, meanwhile, is 1.8% and the overall mortality from the virus is 41.9 people for every million inhabitants.

The percentage of occupation of intensive care beds, which was key to the government's decision to toughen quarantine in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area, is 52.7 nationally and 60.8 in the metropolitan region.

Currently there are 752 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus who are admitted to the so-called critical beds. 91% of these people are in AMBA establishments.

The good news is that so far 45,467 people who had the virus have recovered and have been discharged.

Since the arrival of the virus in the country and in all provinces, they had cases and the only one that has not registered positives in the last two weeks is La Pampa, the least punished by the pandemic with just 7 cases.
