A garden will be built on the way to closure? In the past week, there has been a sharp increase in the number of patients verified in the Gan Yavne local council, which currently (Tuesday) stands at 71 people infected with the corona virus. This is an increase of 50 infected - out of 21 verified who registered as of last week. The main reason, at least according to council sources - here are teen parties.   

Israel Today has learned that 28 of the verified people in the last two days are students in the twelfth grade at Rabin High School in the city, who according to an investigation by Health Ministry officials and Gan Yavneh local council - were at a mass party of most students at the beginning of the month without a permit. There are 140 students in the class in isolation and waiting for the results of tests that have been passed, with the fear that the number of verified will increase and that the circles of those close to them will be infected.

According to sources in the local council, "the party was held underground and under the radar in a community near Gan Yavne, without permits." The head of the council, Aharon Dror, addressed the residents last night and called on everyone to keep the guidelines, with the growing fear of imposing a closure on the settlement if the number of verified people continues to rise at a dizzying pace.

"Many of the new cases took place at teen parties that were done privately ... so it is very important to avoid gatherings❗ one must wake up to change habits and take responsibility! The police will continue to enforce in the locality!" Message from the head of the council.

Council residents reacted angrily to the incident that was revealed, noting that the blame should be placed on the students' parents: "The problem is the lack of discipline of the parents who back up the lack of discipline of the children. It was said about this: Education begins at home," residents wrote on the council's website.   

Some of the information circulated on social media indicated that the party was planned under the guise of a "wedding", and police arrived at the scene but did not disperse it. 

The teens responded to the post on their part and apologized for the incident, although they claimed it was done according to the rules when a gathering of up to 250 people was still allowed: "First of all we want to apologize for the mess created. They said we brought a bride and groom in disguise. "To break the lies and rumors, we did not bring anyone impersonating a bride and groom, and our ball was held when events of up to 250 people were allowed." According to the students, "the lesson was learned" and there was no intention to infect. They said they did not even know there might have been verified patients at the party.
