19 new deaths from coronavirus confirmed and there are already almost 2,000 fatalities in Argentina

The virus case fatality rate is 1.8%, according to data updated in the morning report of the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday 19 new deaths from coronavirus in relation to the latest report, making 1,987 fatalities in the country due to the pandemic.

The virus case fatality rate is 1.8% and the overall mortality rate reached 43.4 people per million inhabitants.

Currently there are 722 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus who are admitted to intensive care units, and 90% of them in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.

The occupancy level of the so-called critical beds is 52.9% throughout the country, while in the metropolitan region of Buenos Aires that number increases to 61.3%.

In addition, so far there are 47,298 people who have infected the virus but recovered and were discharged.
