In the afternoon, the Ministry of Health announced new guidelines for HMOs not to perform corona tests for people who show no symptoms, except in cases where they have been at home with a verified patient or they are defined as a population at risk. According to the document, the decision was made in order to streamline the set of tests performed at the HMOs when it was emphasized that the procedure regarding the rest of the tests remained unchanged.

Regarding people who do not show symptoms, known as 'asymptomatic' patients, tests will be performed in special cases: when it is a person who moves to an institution or frame of a at-risk population such as nursing homes or a nursing home or alternatively in the case of a person who returned to the frame after leaving.

At the same time, the Nurses' Federation announced that it will move to work in an emergency format due to a lack of standards during the Corona crisis starting this coming Monday. The statement said the strike had been declared out of "national responsibility, to stop the collapse of the brothers and sisters and save lives."

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today shared on his Twitter account data published in the British Financial Times, which, he claims, testify to Israel's success in dealing with the corona virus, but at the same time warned of deteriorating conditions and rising mortality.

According to the data, Israel is one of only three countries - along with Norway and Iceland, where there was no increase in mortality in 2020, compared to the same period in 2019. "Again the global data indicate Israel's success in dealing with the corona plague," the prime minister wrote, adding, "We have made tremendous efforts to preserve human life in the first wave and we have managed to reduce the danger and mortality rate from the plague significantly.
