(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 18 - The number of new ones infected by Covid in the last 24 hours in Italy has risen slightly: there are 249 of them, yesterday's 233. The new victims are instead 14, compared to 11 yesterday. Total cases rise to 244,216, deaths reach 35,042. The data were published by the Ministry of Health. The currently positive are now 12,368 (-88), the healed 196,806 (+323).
The new positives for Covid are 88 in Lombardy, 40 in Emilia Romagna, 88 in Veneto, 20 in Lazio, 18 in Liguria and 15 in Campania, the other regions have single-digit increases, except Valle d'Aosta, Molise and Basilicata which do not register any new cases. The ICU patients are 50, as yesterday, the hospitalized with symptoms are 757 (-14), those in home isolation are 11.561 (-74). Tampons in the last 24 hours were 48,265, down on yesterday.
