(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 19 - The newly weds Beatrice of York and Edward Mapelli Mozzi hand in hand among the flowers by the tonipastello that frame the entrance to the Royal Chapel of AllSaint in Windsor where they just said yes. It is one of the two official photos released by Bukingham Palace after the wedding, which was celebrated the day before yesterday in private form, with about thirty guests, because of Covid.
In the other photo you can see the newlyweds outside the entrance of the chapel with Queen Elizabeth II and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. However, the parents of the princess do not appear in any of the photos. Prince Andrea, involved in the Epstein scandal, continues to keep a low profile after the arrest of his ex-friend Ghislaine Maxwell accused of trafficking minors. Absent from the official photos also the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, Beatrice's mother.
The bride wore an ivory taffeta vintage dress that belonged to the queen and the diamond tiara with which Elizabeth married in 1947. (ANSA).
