21 new deaths from coronavirus confirmed and 2,281 fatalities in Argentina

The Ministry of Health updated the number of the disease in Argentina. The case fatality rate is 1.8%.

The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported on Monday the death of 21 other people from coronavirus with respect to the latest report, bringing the number of fatalities in the country to 2,281 since the start of the pandemic.

In the last report, 40 new deaths had been detailed, with 4,231 new cases. This Monday, the death report was updated, as was the case fatality rate, which reached 1.8% , according to the detail given in a press conference by Alejandro Costa, Undersecretary of Health Strategies.

On this occasion the Province of Buenos Aires was the one that registered the most infections, with 2,761 new cases and was followed by the City of Buenos Aires, with 1,115. Then Córdoba (67), Santa Cruz (59), Chaco (48), Neuquén (33), Río Negro (23), Salta (23) and Santa Fe (23) the regions with the most positives.
