League funds, Gdf in the Lombardy Region for acquisitions

The financiers of the Economic and Financial Police Corps of the Milan Gdf are acquiring documents in the offices of the Lombardy Region in the investigation with the alleged sale at the center of the inflated price, between 2017 and 2018, of a property for the Lombardy Film Commission. ANSA learned it. The investigation in recent days has led to the arrest of the "figurehead" Luca Sostegni and sees three accountants close to the League under investigation. The Gdf is acquiring documents relating to regional appropriations for the LFC.

The financiers, as far as we know, went to the regional offices to acquire papers relating to the allocations and financial flows in favor of the Lombardia Film Commission and, in particular, to the financing of one million euros, of which a part, 800 thousand euros, it served to the foundation participated by the Region to buy the shed in Cormano (Milan). Shed that had been previously sold to Andromeda Real Estate for half the price, 400 thousand euros. Among the papers useful for the investigations and which should also be acquired are those relating to the appointment by the Region, then led by Roberto Maroni, to the presidency of the LFC by Michele Di Rubba, former auditor of the Carroccio, and which, according to the investigations of the added Eugenio Fusco and prosecutor Stefano Civardi, he would have designed the real estate transaction, together with the accountants Michele Scillieri and Andrea Manzoni, also the latter former auditor of the League.

An operation which, according to the documents of the investigation, had a "substantially appropriating nature", with Di Rubba and "his associates" who took possession of "the capital lying on the account of the foundation, tied to the advertising destination". From here in the investigation the accusation of embezzlement, in addition to that of disturbance for a public notice created 'ad hoc' for that property. Peculiar contested also to Sostegni, stopped last Wednesday also for extortion because he asked and obtained money from the accountants in exchange for his silence on this and other operations on which the prosecutors are investigating. Sostegni has already started making admissions and collaborating with investigators last Saturday in San Vittore and will be questioned again this week.
