"The new decree will contain a package of measures for work which includes the extension of the layoffs for an additional 18 weeks". According to what has been learned, the Minister of Labor, Nunzia Catalfo, said at the table on the reform of social safety nets with CGIL, CISL and UIL. The cash desk would start on July 15th. For the Cig weeks the formula 9 + 9 would be adopted. Alternatively there would be "a relief for those companies that decide to bring their employees back to work". Catalfo also explained that in the next decree there will be a decontribution for new permanent hires, and "the continuation of the blockade of layoffs, with some exceptions such as the cessation of activity".

Stop layoffs until the entire period in which the companies are covered by the IGC, that is, from 15 July to 31 December. This is what emerged after the table between the Minister of Labor and the unions, and a temporary derogation on the reasons for the temporary contracts limited to extensions and renewals and until the end of the year.
