Two children aged 3 and 10 escaped the fire that broke out on the third floor of a building on Tuesday around noon in Grenoble, by jumping out of a window. The scene, filmed from a building opposite, took place in the Cité de l'Arlequin, in Grenoble.
To escape the flames, the older child hung the younger in the void, before letting go. It was recovered at the foot of the facade by a small group of adults. The elder then jumped into the arms of the witnesses. According to them, the two children are unharmed and were only hospitalized for inhaling fumes. At least two men were injured in the arms saving the children. At this stage, it is not known what caused the fire and where the parents were at the time of the incident.
