Slight decline in consumer confidence in July, business rooms

(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 24 - Consumer confidence in July, albeit slightly, as it continues to rise for businesses.
   For the former, Istat, in fact, estimates an index in "slight inflection" compared to June (from 100.7 to 100.0). On the other hand, for companies it recorded a new rise, for the second consecutive month, (from 66.2 to 76.7). Even if the level remains, the Institute points out, "far from the levels preceding the health emergency". As for families, the step back follows the "recovery" marked in the previous month. In this case, the decrease in the economic climate, relative to the situation in the country, and the future one, weighs heavily. (HANDLE).
