(ANSA) - TEHERAN, JULY 25 - Iran has recorded 2,316 cases of coronaviruses and 195 deaths in the last 24 hours: the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Lari, announced today. New data bring the overall balance of infections to 288,839 and that of the dead to 15,484.
There are currently 3,670 ICU patients, while 251,319 people have been cured and 2,302,634 tests have so far been performed.
To try to contain the spread of the virus in the capital, the office of the governor of the province of Tehran had decided to extend the lockdown imposed last Saturday: lemoschee, cultural institutes, gyms, bars and beauty centers will remain closed for another week .(HANDLE).
