(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 25 - The government of Catalonia has ordered the closure of discos, night clubs and pubs as part of the initiatives taken to try to contain a new wave of coronavirus cases. The new measure entered into force today and will last at least 15 days, reports El Pais newspaper.
At the same time, the Generalitat has reduced its casino and game room hours, which will remain open until midnight from today. At the same time, bars and restaurants will also close in the municipalities where the restrictive measures are already in force, as in Barcelona.
"The logic is to limit mobility and we have already insisted that, in some areas, it is more difficult to maintain precautionary measures. The situation in Catalonia is complicated and we have little opportunity and little time to act", explained the Secretary of Health, Josep Maria Argimon. (HANDLE).
