(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 25 - Coronavirus cases at global level mark another daily record: according to the World Health Organization (WHO) counts, yesterday the new contagions in the world were at least 284,196, a figure that could also increase in the next few hours because still not all countries have updated the WHO on their situation.
For the moment, therefore, this is an increase of almost 15% compared to the 247,224 cases reported on Thursday. The previous daily record had been marked last Saturday with 259,848 cases, reports CNN. Overall, to date WHO has been notified of 15,296,926 cases of infection.
Also for yesterday, the WHO recorded further 9,753 deaths caused by the coronavirus, a figure that brings the total since the beginning of the pandemic to an altitude of 628,903.
