(ANSA-AFP) - ROME, JULY 26 - A firefighter was killed and four others injured in an attempt to tame a fire burned down in a forest in central Portugal. The stake, according to Civil Protection, could last until Wednesday.
There are already 700 firefighters sent to the scene and 14 Candairal workers.
The fire broke out in the Castelo Branco region, 200km north of Lisbon. It is not the first time that Portugal has been affected, in 2017 114 people died from the fires in the country. (ANSA-AFP).
