Charlie Balducci , star of the MTV show " True Life: I'm Getting Married," died unexpectedly in New York at age 44. This was confirmed by his mother to the TMZ portal on Monday morning.

According to the publication, Charlie was found unconscious in his bed on Saturday, July 25. When paramedics arrived, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The New York City medical examiner's office told E! News  that the cause of his death is still under investigation.

Charlie and his wife Sabrina Balducci appeared on the MTV series in 2001, where cameras documented their journey to the altar.

The star was married to Sabrina for more than a decade and together they share two children, ages 17 and 19.

The famous is remembered for one of the episodes of the show that went viral on the Internet, where Charlie explodes against the driver of his limo for making him arrive late on his wedding day.
