Generational change at the top of Dolomiti Superski, one of the largest ski areas in the world: the general assembly, held in Selva Gardena, elected the new board of directors and the new president: Andy Varallo, 40 years old, president of the Plants Consortium Alta Badia ropeway and since 2008 vice president of the federation, succeeds Sandro Lazzari, born in 1940, first-hour installer, pioneer of winter tourism in Val Gardena, creator, founder and president of Dolomiti Superski since 2008.
The new board will remain in charge for three years.

To support, as new vice president, there will be Zeno Kastlunger, 49 years old, plant engineer and technician of the Plan de Corones area. The assembly also renewed the board of directors for 3/5 of its members. "Sandro Lazzari was my life teacher. With honor, I take on this important responsibility and together with the vice president, Zeno Kastlunger, we will ferry our ski area towards new market challenges, characterized by technological innovations and respecting a consortium balance that binds all 12 valleys of Dolomiti Superski ", said Varallo on the sidelines of the assembly.

"In leaving the presidency, the thought retraces the entire life of this organization, which has coincided with much of mine. But I leave it in good hands. With Andy Varallo, who joined me as vice-president, we carried out our four mandates in full collaboration united by friendship, enthusiasm and passion for our profession ". So the outgoing president Sandro Lazzari, who will continue in his commitment as a plant engineer in Val Gardena. At the end of the assembly, the new president Varallo gave his predecessor an honor as a sign of thanks "for the decades of dedication to the common cause of the 12 Dolomite valleys".
