An offer subject to a one-year commitment and which will only be available on the website and app. Alone, the Téléfoot subscription is 25.90 euros per month (with a one-year commitment, 29.90 euros without commitment) and that of Netflix 11.90 euros. The latter therefore amounts to only 4 euros, explains the sports daily which specifies that it is Mediapro which should manage the payment and the data of future subscribers and then pay a quota to Netflix.

"We are not going to stay in the tradition"

This is a master stroke for the Mediapro group, which is not in its first alliance. The Spanish company with Chinese capital has, in particular, entered into a distribution agreement with SFR, a subsidiary of the Altice group, as it announced last Monday. And obtained a license agreement allowing it to use the name Téléfoot, also that of a famous program broadcast on the channel for more than forty years. “We are going to announce agreements with people who are not traditional distributors. We are not going to stay in the tradition because the reality is quite different, ” said his boss Jaume Roures, as if to announce this new partnership. Téléfoot will broadcast 80% of L1 and L2 until 2024, 100% of the Champions League and Europa League in 2020-21.
