11 new deaths linked to Covid-19 have been recorded in hospital in the past 24 hours in France, according to the latest data communicated by the Directorate General of Health on Friday.
She specifies that the coronavirus has killed a total of 30,265 people in the country since March 1. Among these deaths, 19,750 occurred in hospitals. The death toll in social and medico-social establishments will not be updated until next Tuesday. The latest report, drawn up on July 28, reported 10,515 dead.
371 people in intensive care
The DGS also reveals that some 5,298 people are still hospitalized after being infected with SARS-CoV-2, against 5,375 on Thursday. Among these patients, 371 of the most serious cases are in intensive care units. The balance remains positive in these services reserved for the most serious cases, with ten fewer patients compared to Thursday.
In 24 hours, 1,346 new people were infected with Covid-19.
