Enhancing local products through the creation of 'finger food' and excellent dishes, offered for tasting with local wines, and promoting the market for agricultural, agri-food and wine products of the Aosta Valley: this is the aim of "Not Just Show Cooking in Aosta Valley - Chef au Marché", scheduled from 6 to 23 August 2020.
On the calendar three events promoted by the regional administration in collaboration with Coldiretti Valle d'Aosta, Valle d'Aosta regional chefs union, Slow-food Valle d'Aosta and with the logistical support of the Municipalities of Cogne, Pré Saint Didier and Ayas. Each event will start at 5pm and provides an in-depth analysis of the different agri-food chains, with the presentation and illustration of the Dop, Doc and Pat products used in the preparation of the dishes and the involvement of sector technicians and producers involved from time to time .
Non Solo Show Cooking aims to "be an important opportunity to promote regional food and wine in various locations in the region, with a view to integrated enhancement of the territory as a whole: the fruitful collaboration established with the Regional Union of Chefs Valley d 'Aosta and the synergy with the producers who participate in the market of Coldiretti Valle d'Aosta will give way to appreciate the excellence of the territory starting from production to cooking ". Participation in the tastings is free upon reservation on site, and will be contingent and carried out in application of the anti-Covid-19 provisions.
