The Minister of Health, Hope signs ordinance. After 132 cases in Trevigiano migrant center, 45 outbreaks in Veneto. Zaia: 'Clinically we are not in emergency'. (HANDLE)

Given the evolution of the epidemiological framework, the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, has signed the order extending the restrictive measures for those who have been to Romania and Bulgaria and eliminates Algeria from the list of non-EU countries whose citizens have access to Italy, with an obligation to quarantine, even without proven reasons of urgency.

The Ministry of Health Ordinance gives a further crackdown on the entry into Italy from Algeria. If so far, in fact, it was possible to enter even for unsubstantiated reasons of urgency and undergoing 14 days of isolation, today's document provides that those arriving from the Maghrebi country can do so only for proven urgent reasons and always undergoing the two weeks of quarantine. In short, the Ministry of Health also applies to Algeria the same measures already in force for other non-EU countries. As for Romania and Bulgaria, the restrictions decided in the past few days are prolonged, i.e. the 14 days of quarantine upon entering Italy by any means of transport.

Intato the governor of Veneto Luca Zaia, speaking of the new cases in the Covid positivity region, said that "clinically we are not in an emergency right now". Among the cases, 132 positives (131 migrants and a cultural mediator) found in the reception center of the former Serena Barracks in Casier, in the Treviso area. "We caught the 131 positives - he explains - because we had found three symptomatic". Zaia points out that there are a total of 45 outbreaks in Veneto. Tomorrow announces the signing of a new ordinance which "will extend all the measures already foreseen until October 15th".
