Coronavirus: France, over 1300 new cases in 24 hours

For the third consecutive day, France has registered over 1,300 new coronavirus cases. A phenomenon that the French press has called "holiday effect". (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 01 - For the third consecutive day, France has recorded over 1,300 new cases of coronavirus. Unless the French press called it the "holiday effect".
   In the last 24 hours, 15 new focuses have also been identified, for a total of 157 under observation throughout the country. The Guardian reports it. According to the French health authorities, 21% of these outbreaks were caused by the reunification of families for the holidays and by "public or private gatherings" such as weddings. (HANDLE).
