Coronavirus: Bulgaria, 119 cases and three deaths in 24 hours

In Bulgaria in the last 24 hours 119 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded following 1,491 diagnostic tests carried out. The total balance of infections thus rises to 11,955. (HANDLE)


(ANSAmed) - SOFIA, AUG 03 - In the last 24 hours 119 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded following 1,491 diagnostic tests carried out. The total balance of the infections thus rises to 11,955. As the authorities report, there are also three new deaths, with the total rising to 388 victims. Eight of the new infections were detected in Sofia, while the record lies with the city of Varnas on the Black Sea, with 61 new cases.
    The toll on medical staff has risen to 691. There are currently 5,147 active cases, while in hospital 814 patients are hospitalized, 46 of whom are in intensive care units.
    According to statistics from the Coronavirus Operations Center, 6,589 new cases were registered in Bulgaria in July, more than triple that of June. 151 people were killed in July, almost double the previous month. (ANSAmed). (HANDLE).
