(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 03 - China yesterday recorded 43 new cases of coronavirus, of which 36 transmitted to the level and seven 'imported' from abroad: the National Health Commission announced, according to the CNN report.
Of the 36 locally transmitted infections, 28 were detected in the western region of Xinjiang and the remaining eight in the northeastern province of Liaoning. The seven 'imported' cases were discovered in the provinces of Liaoning, Guangdong, Shandong and Jiangsu. Also yesterday, 11 symptomatic cases also emerged.
So far, China has confirmed a total of 84,428 cases and 4,634 deaths from the virus. (HANDLE).
