Aline Cohen uploaded a number of photos on Instagram that cannot be ignored, wearing a layered chiffon dress in a phosphorescent sunny yellow shade by designer Elizabeth Brown, who is currently assimilating her business in Israel.

"The dress is part of a summer collection for the event season that I managed to photograph in Milan just before the corona burst," Brown tells Israel Today. "The photos of the collection were published in all sorts of places and Aline and her stylist were enthusiastic about the yellow dress and asked to be photographed with her for a social project in which Aline was photographed on a photo set with a girl with cancer. The photos were very exciting."

The event season was interrupted because of the corona, did it change the direction of your design?

"To this day, I have created mostly clothes for productions and events. I still want to keep my couture line, tailored, but with a line that will be wearable regardless of whether there is an event or not. The change for me is that women can come to my studio in Herzliya, buy items and enjoy wearing them. Every day, when going out to a restaurant or meeting friends because they like the style. "

For Brown, this is also an opportunity to remind Israelis of her handwriting, as for the past three years most of her activity has been overseas. "I always knew I wanted to settle in the country. I have lived in all sorts of places in the world for eight years and work between continents. The Corona, and maybe even 30 years, made me two years ahead of the desire to settle in the country," she says.

"I leave the store in New York on a small fire because I know the situation is temporary, and when the Corona calms down I have intentions of opening a store in London," Brown says of the changes. "It is most appropriate for me to concentrate my business activity in Israel, when I map I will go where it is necessary to preserve the activity abroad."
