Since March 1, 30,296 people have died in France since March 1. The number of patients in intensive care continues to drop

Eleven new new deaths linked to Covid-19 have been identified at the hospital, according to data communicated by the General Directorate of Health (DGS) on Tuesday.

She specifies that the coronavirus has killed a total of 30,296 people in France since March 1. Among these deaths, 19,790 took place in hospitals and 10,506 took place in social and medico-social establishments. This is 9 deaths less than the balance sheet provided last week, due to a data entry error.

Four more people in intensive care

Among the patients treated, 388 of the most serious cases are in the intensive care units. That's four more than Monday. 21 people have been admitted to intensive care in the past 24 hours.

The number of patients in intensive care had already increased by one person last Thursday, which was the very first increase seen since April 9.

The DGS recalls its instructions: "Give preference to small groups, equip yourself with masks for the general public and hydroalcoholic gels, prefer outdoor spaces, ventilate the premises, activate (the application) Stop Covid, protect the most fragile".

"If the RT-PCR test is positive, isolate yourself strictly at home, respect the distances, wear a mask, wash your hands regularly, quickly warn your friends, relatives, work colleagues", specifies the DGS.
